Kwesi Appiah unveiled as coach of Sudanese club Khartoum Watan

Former head coach of the Black Stars Kwesi Appiah has formally been unveiled as the new boss of Sudanese top-flight side, Khartoum Watan.
Appiah, has been jobless since he was  was sacked in September after leading the Black Stars to fourth place at the 2013 AFCON and a first round exit at the World Cup in Brazil in his two years in charge.

He has also previously been in charge of Ghana’s under 23 national team and was assistant coach of the Black Stars before landing the top job in 2012.
Appiah has named former coach of Ghanaian premier league club Medeama SC head, Prince Owusu as his assistant.

Khartoum Watan finished fourth in the Sudanese top-flight last season, 24 points behind winners Al Hilal and Appiah will hope to guide hhis new team to the top of a league which has largely been dominated by Al Hilal and Al Merreikh .
