Some irate youth of Ofoase in the Ashanti region Tuesday night vented their anger on Fire Service personnel, accusing them of delayed response to fire at a residential facility in the town.
The angry and missile-throwing mob injured four fire personnel from the Nkawie Fire station and also vandaliseing their properties.
The Nkawie District Fire Commander, Assistant Divisional Officer One, Emmanuel Afoakwa in an interview with Nhyira News attributed the delay to the bad roads in the area.
He noted that the injured persons have since been treated and discharged.
